Look for contact information—including the store’s policies on payment, exchanges, and returns. “ Google urges quality raters to be a ‘detective’ in finding this information about you – so it must be important to them.

Note that Google is pretty good these days at removing any special characters you have in your page title – and I would be wary of trying to make your title or Meta Description STAND OUT using special characters. That is not what Google wants, evidently, and they do give you a further chance to make your search snippet stand out with RICH SNIPPETS and SCHEMA mark-up.

If you link out to irrelevant sites, Google may ignore the page, too – but again, it depends on the site in question. Who you link to, or HOW you link to, REALLY DOES MATTER – I expect Google to use your linking practices as a potential means by which to classify your site. Affiliate sites, for example, don’t do well in Google these days without some good quality backlinks and higher quality pages.

You can even go beyond the search engine and find out what users are searching for when on your site, what they’re clicking on when they reach specific pages, and what your most popular (and least popular content) is. This can be especially powerful for eCommerce shops, but is also relevant to blogs. Pages that don’t perform well can be expanded upon and improved to meet user needs and expectations.
When it comes to billboard advertising, less is more. Get your targeted message across in as few words as possible. If you’re looking for a maximum number, no more than 9 (short) words. Take into account that people will be whizzing by in their cars, so there’s only so much they can read…but creating a connection with those people with only a few short words, well, that’s where the creative process comes in.

When working with companies they don't care about being in google tp 3 or web visitors... they care about sales, customers and profits. I talked to a customer last week to offer a webpage located in the first position in google after a year of work, their questions were all related with leads, sales and profitabilty. Different languages that we need to learn.
Ideally, you will have unique pages, with unique page titles and unique page meta descriptions . Google does not seem to use the meta description when ranking your page for specific keyword searches if not relevant and unless you are careful if you might end up just giving spammers free original text for their site and not yours once they scrape your descriptions and put the text in main content on their site. I don’t worry about meta keywords these days as Google and Bing say they either ignore them or use them as spam signals.
Not every website builder has the same capabilities. From our view, Squarespace has some of the worst SEO features. They (quite surprisingly) don’t let you freely edit title tags and meta-descriptions for product pages and blog posts. Additionally, and this is far worse: in most of Squarespace’s templates, there is a banner section at the top. For some strange reason, this banner text serves as the SEO title and meta description at the same time, which, for SEO, can be disastrous (see example here).
